(TSM) has commenced modification at Commercial Jet’s Miami, Florida facility, which is one of five authorized AEI Conversion Centers worldwide. Robert T. Convey, AEI’s Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing said, “We are beginning to see an uptick in the level of interest in our MD-80SF conversion program.” He added, “Growth in the narrow-body sector of the cargo market continues to be strong as represented by the fact that AEI will soon deliver its 50th B737-400SF conversion.”

After this conversion, AEI will have delivered six MD-80SFs to various customers with TSM representing the largest overall operator of AEI’s MD-80SF freighters.

The AEI MD83SF shall provide Aeronaves T.S.M. with an Ancra CLS capable of carrying:

When combined with proven reliability, the AEI converted MD-83SF will allow TSM to keep their aircraft – “In the air, generating revenue.”
