AEI COMPLETES PDR FOR CRJ200 SF AIRCRAFT

MIAMI, FL., -November 26th, 2013 - Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI), is pleased to announce that it has completed the Preliminary Design Review (PDR) for the Passenger to Freighter Conversion Program for the CRJ200* SF aircraft. This milestone is significant because it establishes the basic design features of the freighter. The program was officially launched in February of 2013 and is expected to be completed by mid 2015. The modification touch labor on the prototype will begin in June of 2014 and will be performed at AEI’s leading Authorized Conversion Center, Commercial Jet Inc. which is located in Miami Florida.

Mr. Roy Sandri, President of AEI stated that “The completion of the PDR is a major milestone in any conversion program as it establishes the capability and functionality of the future freighter.” He went on to say: “With the key features now defined our engineering team is able to focus on the detail drawings as they quickly move towards the Critical Design Review (CDR) which is expected in March of 2014.”
