AEI FIRST TO RECEIVE RUSSIAN APPROVAL

MIAMI, FL., -January 11, 2011- Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI), is pleased to announce that its B737-300SF and B737-400SF products are the first Western P to F conversions ever approved by the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The CIS is a regional organization whose participating countries are former Soviet Republics, formed during the breakup of the Soviet Union. This landmark approval will allow leasing companies and CIS airlines to import and operate AEI B737 Freighters.

Mr. Robert T. Convey, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for AEI stated that “The approval of AEI’s 737 conversion products will pro- vide CIS operators with an economical replacement for the 100+ AN12 freighters currently in service”. He goes on to say that “Based upon our analysis the CIS countries will surpass China in the number of registered 737 classic freighters by 2013. Unlike China, the CIS demand will be driven by the need for replacement of exsisting freighters rather than the organic growth currently being experienced in China”.

Mr. Felix Minevich, President of Omega Worldwide, Inc stated that “This approval serves as an example of great cooperation between AEI, the FAA and the IAC. The certification of the AEI B737- 300SF/400SF Freighters will open up a huge opportunity for cargo operators in Russia and CIS countries. The demand for these types of freighter aircraft is enormous and we expect to immediately see conversion orders”. Omega Worldwide was retained by AEI as a special adviser to Russia and has been instrumental in obtaining IAC approval.
