MIAMI, FL., -September 25, 2013 - Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI), announces the redelivery of the fourth B737-400SF aircraft to the ASL Aviation Group. The aircraft is being ferried to Dublin where it will enter service with Air Contractors.
This is the fourth of six contracted freighter conversions undergoing modification at Commercial Jet’s (CJI) Miami and Dothan facilities. N286AL, MSN 25261 is a high gross weight B737-400SF 11 Pallet freighter and has a maximum range of about 2,800 nm and the ability to carry payloads of up to 48,000 lbs. ASL has reported exceptional in service reliability on the first three AEI B737-400SF’s.
Mr. Robert T. Convey, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for AEI stated that “The entire AEI team is proud to redeliver our 12th conversion this year to the ASL Aviation Group. AEI’s B737-400SF 11 Pallet Conversion has been selected by ASL to support all three of their airlines in Ireland, France and South Africa.” He adds, “This delivery is part of an order that will bring the total number of AEI B737-400SF’s in ASL’s fleet to eight (8) with six owned and two leased.”
NEW ANCRA CARGO LOADING SYSTEM
AEI’s B737-400SF shall provide ASL with an Ancra CLS capable of carrying multiple ULD’s including:
(10) 88″ × 125″ AAA Containers/pallets, P1 to P10 or
(5) 88″ × 125″ AAA Containers/pallets, P1-P4 and P10 plus
(10) 88″ × 61.5″ ULD’s in P5 to P9 and
(1) 53″ × 88″ × 64″ Pallet or AEP/AEH or 60.4″ × 61.5″ AKE/LD3 or 61.5″ × 88″ × 56″H AYY in P11
