AEI’s TEN AAA B737-400SF SELECTED FOR CONVERSION

MIAMI, FL., -August 2, 2011- Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI), is pleased to announce that it has been selected by an undisclosed customer to provide one B737-400SF, 11 Pallet Con- figuration Passenger to Freighter Conversion. The aircraft, a Standard Gross weight B737-400 was built in 1991 and is currently undergoing freighter modification and heavy maintenance at Commercial Jet, Inc., one of AEI’s authorized conversion centers.

Mr. Robert T. Convey, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, stated that “AEI’s B737-400SF 11 Pallet Configuration was selected be- cause it can accommodate ten (10) full height AAA containers plus an additional half container in position 11”. He goes on to say that “Competing 737-400 conversion products can only accommodate nine (9) full height, 88” x 125” AAA containers due to their Main Deck Cargo Door and 9 G Barrier locations.”

AEI’s B737-400SF 11 Pallet Configuration is made possible because the Main Deck Cargo Door location is set 40” further aft than the competitions. This “Aft” door location allows for one full height 88” x 125” container to be placed forward of the Main Deck Cargo Door, which in turn allows room for the remaining nine units.

AEI’s B737-400SF 11 Pallet Configuration can accommodate;
? Ten Full Height 88”x125”x82” AAA container positions in P1- P10 and a 53”x88”x64”high pallet in P11
