AELS recycles aircraft for EADS EFW

AELS (www.aels.nl) has announced a new project to disassemble and dismantle an Airbus A310-300 aircraft for EADS EFW in Dresden, Germany. The aircraft is owned by EADS EFW and has serial number 654. It used to be operated as a passenger aircraft in Asia. It was flown to Dresden to be converted into a freighter aircraft, which it is no longer suitable for.

The project will be executed under AELS management and in compliance with its AFRA accreditation. The environmentally friendly Total End-of-Life Solution that AELS is providing to EADS EFW includes the dismantling of the airframe and recycling of the leftover materials such as aluminum. In addition AELS will recertify, market and sell the components of the aircraft for re-use on other aircraft.
