Aer Arann and Aer Lingus launch new routes to France

Aer Arann and Aer Lingus today announced the addition of new services between Dublin and Cork to Rennes for Summer 2011 in the latest development of the franchise agreement between the two airlines. Also announced was the return of the popular Jersey – Cork route that will commence on 20th April.

Beginning on Saturday, 14th May, the new Dublin and Cork to Rennes service will operate weekly return flights every Saturday. Additional Dublin to Rennes services will be added for the period 21st June to 30th August including a weekly Tuesday flight and a second flight every Saturday. The Jersey – Cork route will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 20th April to 10th September.

The new routes are very attractive for both markets, providing Irish tourists access to superb attractions in Rennes and beyond in northern France. In turn, they offer Rennes visitors access to Dublin and Cork’s renowned attractions and events as well creating a doorway to the county’s surrounding destinations.

Flights from Dublin and Cork to Rennes start at €49.99 including taxes and Cork to Jersey flights start from €44.99 including taxes. All flights are available for purchase from Monday, 10th January.
