Aer Lingus announcements retirement of Directors

Dublin London, 29 January 2014 : Aer Lingus Group plc ( “Aer Lingus ”) hereby announces that Mr. Francis Hackett and Dr. Colin Hunt will retire as Irish Government nominated non-executive directors on the expiry of their respective terms of appointment.

Dr. Hunt’s term of appointment expires today, 29 January 2014, and Mr. Hackett’s term of appointment will expire on 7 February 2014.

Colm Barrington, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aer Lingus, said: “I would like to pay tribute to Colin and Francis for their substantial contributions to the success of Aer Lingus during their terms as directors of the company. I would like to thank each of them for their commitment and engagement, which at all times has been constructive a nd forward looking.
