Aer Lingus confirms appointment of CFO designate to its Board of Directors

Dublin London,: Aer Lingus Group plc ( the “Company”) confirms that its Board of Directors has today approved the appointment with effect from 1 September 2014 of its Chief Financial Officer designate, Mr. Bernard Bot, as a director of the Company.

The following information is disclosed pursuant to Rule 9. 6.13 of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority: Mr. Bot was a director of TNT N.V. from August 2010 to May 2011 and a director of TNT Express N.V. from March 2011 to June 2014. Mr. Bot has no disclosure to make pursuant to Rule 6.6.7 of the Listing Rules of the Irish Stock Exchange.
