Aer Lingus Group Traffic Statistics for March 2013

Dublin & London, 5 April 2013: Aer Lingus Group plc (“Aer Lingus”), today announced traffic statistics for the month of March 2013.
Total flown passenger numbers, including Aer Lingus Regional operations, increased by 4.3% to 844,000 in March 2013 compared to March 2012.

Short haul flown passengers, including Aer Lingus Regional, in March 2013 were 761,000, an increase of 3.4% on March 2012, while long haul flown passengers in March 2013 were 83,000, an increase of 13.7% on March 2012.

Aer Lingus mainline’s flown passenger load factor in March 2013 increased by 4.1 points on March 2012 to 79.9%. Short haul flown load factor was 77.3%, an increase of 4.7 points on March 2012, with capacity decreasing by 7.0%. Long haul flown load factor was 84.4%, an increase of 2.4 points on March 2012, with capacity increasing by 9.5% on prior year.
