Aer Lingus June 2014 Traffic Statistics

Aer Lingus Group plc has announced traffic statistics for the month of June 2014.

· Total traffic for the month, including Aer Lingus Regional scheduled flights, was up 7.8% to 1,125,000 passengers compared to 1,044,000 passengers in June 2013

· Aer Lingus short haul passengers increased by 2.6% from 833,000 to 854,000

· Long haul passenger numbers grew by 21.5% to 141,000 in June 2014

· The overall passenger load factor in June 2014 was 85.5% compared to 86.2% in the same month in 2013

· Total traffic for the first half of 2014, including Aer Lingus Regional scheduled flights, rose by 3.4% to 5,235,000 passengers although overall numbers carried were affected by the one-day industrial stoppage in May and its knock-on effects on bookings
