Aerodynamics Inc. Expands Its Strategic Position In the Corporate Shuttle and Large Aircraft Charter Market

WATERFORD, Mich., Oct. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Aerodynamics Inc. (ADI) today announced it has begun the formal process of expanding its fleet of managed and chartered aircraft by adding a 50-seat regional jet, the EMB-145 50, to its portfolio. ADI expects the new aircraft to be ready to service the charter market late in the first quarter of 2012, pending FAA certification.

The aircraft will be operated under ADI’s FAA Part 121 air carrier certificate. ADI was first awarded its Part 121 operating certificate in 2003. The company has been active in supplemental air carrier work and corporate shuttles involving large cabin aircraft ever since. The EMB-145 50 is the third new aircraft type ADI has added to its operating certificate since beginning its initial Part 121 operation with a Fokker F28, followed shortly thereafter by an Airbus A319. The EMB-145 50 will be the first of three planned additions to the operating certificate in 2012.
