Aeroflot has transferred a number of Orenburg Airlines flights under its own commercial management

December 16, 2014, Moscow. – Aeroflot opened sales on Orenburg Airlines flights under Aeroflot commercial management.

All flights will be performed on modern, comfortable aircraft Boeing 737-800.

Transfer of flights under the commercial management of Aeroflot is a part of the ongoing consolidation process of Aeroflot Group.

Aeroflot Group flights performance under a single code SU has major benefits both for passengers and the Carrier. Already formed schedule provides convenient connections between domestic Aeroflot Group flights in Vnukovo in addition to direct flights of Aeroflot Group carriers and docking conditions of Sheremetyevo and Pulkovo.

A unified IT platform of the booking system simplifies the process of purchasing tickets and minimizes the costs of the Airline. Moreover the Company will obtain an additional income from the sale of subsidiary airlines flights within all available Aeroflot interline e-ticket agreements. A unified flight code with subsidiary airlines gives an opportunity to implement a code-sharing agreement with the third carriers.
