Aerolíneas Argentinas increases efficiency in staff travel management with IT from Lufthansa Systems

Aerolíneas Argentinas will optimize its staff travel management with myIDTravel from Lufthansa Systems. With the integrated ID travel management solution, the Argentinian carrier can introduce self-service e-ticketing for flights of staff members on Aerolíneas Argentinas and other airlines. This enables Aerolíneas Argentinas to streamline their staff travel processes. In addition, the airline is able to comply with the industry mandate of replacing paper tickets by March 2012.

myIDTravel is an integrated solution for the efficient management of business and private ID travel. Through e-ticketing, new self-service functions and a high level of automation, airlines can optimize their ID travel management and reduce costs. myIDTravel eliminates the need for paper tickets and enables airlines to replace them with electronic ID tickets even for interline flights. Furthermore, myIDTravel offers advantages for airlines by streamlining processes – from maintaining ID agreements and eligibility rules to revenue accounting and interline settlement. Airline employees also benefit from using myIDTravel as they can conveniently purchase, change, issue and refund electronic tickets for their trips.
