Aeromexico Reports 18.3% Passenger Increase for February 2014

MEXICO CITY, March 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (“Aeromexico”) (BMV: AEROMEX) the largest airline in Mexico, has reported its operating statistics for February 2014.

Grupo Aeromexico transported 1 million 242 thousand passengers in February; an 18.3% year-on-year increase. The Company experienced a 15.6% increase in the domestic market and a 25.3% increase in the international market.

Demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), increased by 22.4%, year-on-year. Aeromexico’s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased by 12.4% year-on-year.

February load factor was 77.6%; a 6.3 percentage point increase, year-on-year.
