AERONAVES TSM ORDERS THIRD AEI MD80SF 12 PALLET CONVERSION

MIAMI, FL., -March 11, 2014- Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI), is pleased to announce that Aeronaves TSM S.A. de C.V. has ordered one more AEI MD80SF passenger to freighter conversion. The aircraft is a high gross weight MD82 (MSN 49558) and was built in 1988. The aircraft will be modified at Commercial Jet’s Miami Florida facility starting in July 2014. This order will bring Aeronaves TSM’s MD80SF freighter fleet to three, with two AEI MD82SF’s and one AEI MD83SF.

Mr. Robert T. Convey, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for AEI stated that “Aeronaves TSM’s 3rd AEI MD80SF order is a true vote of confidence for the freighter and its ability to continually deliver profits for the operator.” He goes on to say that, “With this order Aeronaves TSM will be the largest operator of MD80SF freighters.”

AEI’s MD82SF shall provide Aeronaves TSM with an Ancra CLS capable of carrying:
(12) 88”x108” Containers/pallets, P1 to P12
This unique capability has been designed by AEI to allow the operator to maximize the main deck volume and Payload. When combined with proven reliability of the MD80, the AEI Converted MD82SF will allow Aeronaves TSM to keep their aircraft where they belong “In the air, generating revenue”.
