Aerovista announces the suspension of its Tanzanian operations

Aerovista announces, as from the 01st July 2013, the suspension of the Aerovista Tanzania Limited interest in Tanzania. Aerovista has taken the decision to suspend operations in Tanzania after a thorough analysis of the new aviation taxation regulations recently introduced by the Tanzanian Government.

The new taxation regulations render continued operation and introduction of additional aircraft, at this time, into Tanzania under the Aerovista AOC as economically unviable at the moment. Aerovista however remains positive that a future solution will present itself. Aerovista will continue its expansion in other areas, reallocating resources accordingly, and will be seeking to revisit and re-examine prospects in Tanzania in the future, should the current situation change.
