Air Astana, the flag carrier of Kazakhstan, increases frequencies between Almaty and Delhi as of 21st August 2012. With the introduction of the additional services, Air Astana will be providing a daily service except Thursdays and Saturdays. Flights will be performed by Airbus A320 aircraft configured in 148 seats, two class configuration. The flight duration from Almaty to Delhi is 3 hours and 45 minutes.
The increase of services to Delhi will help to satisfy increasing demand for airline services between India and Kazakhstan and contribute to greater trade and financial cooperation. Air Astana services from Almaty to Delhi commenced on 4th September 2004 and since then the airline has carried almost 200,000 passengers on the route.
