Air France appoints Bruno Delile as Executive Vice President Long-haul Operations

Bruno Delile has been appointed Executive Vice President Long-haul Operations, as of 15 December 2014, and will also sit on Air France’s Executive Committee.

Bruno Delile (53) holds an ENSTA [École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées] engineering diploma and is a graduate of ESSEC business school. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the aeronautical industry to this new role, having held several positions in the field of MRO* at Air France-KLM.

During his time at Air France, Delile has undertaken roles including Senior Vice President Fleet Management at Air France-KLM and Senior Vice President Fleet Management at Air France. Other notable roles include four years as SVP Industrial and Business Development at Air France Industries KLM Engineering Maintenance, where he was responsible for managing the Group’s joint Marketing and Sales organisation. He also implemented and coordinated several international partnerships and joint ventures in Asia, the Middle East, the USA and Africa.

In 2009, Bruno Delile becameSVP Operations in the Americas for Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, and was also President of the Aero Maintenance group (AMG), a Group subsidiary incorporated in the United States, specialising in component support and aero structure repair.

Bruno Delile previously also worked within the Snecma Group as Program Director and Business Development Director.
