Air Lease Corporation Activity Update for the Third Quarter of 2018

LOS ANGELES, California, October 9, 2018 – Today Air Lease Corporation (NYSE: AL; “ALC”) announced an update on activity taking place in the third quarter of 2018:

As of September 30, 2018, ALC’s fleet was comprised of 268 owned aircraft and 60 managed aircraft, with commitments to acquire a total of 384 new aircraft for delivery through 2024.

Order book Deliveries

Delivered 7 new aircraft including 1 Boeing 737 MAX 8, 2 Boeing 787-9s, 1 Airbus A320neo, 2 Airbus A321neos, and 1 Airbus A350-900
The majority of this quarter’s order book deliveries occurred in the last two weeks of September

Sales

Sold 10 aircraft to Thunderbolt Aircraft Lease Limited II

Financing

Issued $1.2 billion of unsecured senior notes including $700 million of 3.500% unsecured senior notes due 2022 and $500 million of 4.625% unsecured senior notes due 2028
