Papua New Guinea’s National airline, Air Niugini has recently signed an e-ticket agreement with a five star airline, Qatar Airways to expand its network in Africa, Europe and Middle East.
Air Niugini Chief Executive officer, Simon Foo said the agreement allows for Air Niugini to expand its services by using Singapore and Hong Kong as the connecting points to go beyond.
“Our passengers traveling to and from Port Moresby to Africa, Europe, Eastern Europe and Middle East will greatly benefit from this agreement as it encompasses Papua New Guinea destination and Qatar Airways hubs.”
Air Niugini currently operates 11 weekly West bound services through Singapore, Manila and Hong Kong to connect with Qatar Airways.

He said, “Air Niugini and Qatar Airways customers now have easy connections out of Singapore and Hong Kong with all their baggage tagged all the way without hassle. It saves them time from having to re-check for the next flight.”
