airBaltic appoints Vice President Technical

Latvian national airline airBaltic has appointed Marko Halla for the post of Vice President Technical, effective as of November 1.

Martin Sedlacky, Chief Operations Officer and Board Member of airBaltic: “Marko Halla is an experienced aviation engineer with proven track record in management positions in Latvia and internationally. We are delighted that he is joining our team.”

Marko Halla has extensive experience of more than 20 years in the aviation industry. Before joining airBaltic, Marko Halla was the CEO of Qnord, a company specialising in providing technical and aviation management services. Marko Halla has also previosly held the position of Vice President Technical at SmartLynx Airlines, and various maintenance and engineering positions at Hello AG, Air Finland, Finnair, Air Botnia, Finnish Air Force, and BF Lento.
