Airbus A321-200 for Air Lease Corporation – Financed by KfW IPEX-Bank

Air Lease Corporation has mandated KfW IPEX-Bank as Arranger and sole Lender for a 7 year commercial debt financing of one new Airbus A321-200 aircraft operated by Air Berlin. The transaction closed in December 2010.

This transaction is KfW IPEX-Bank’s first financing for Air Lease Corporation. “KfW IPEX-Bank is a natural partner for Air Lease Corporation, with its rapid growth and well more than 100 aircraft on order, and we look very much forward to building on this new relationship.” commented Michael Nosbüsch, Global Head of Aviation and Rail at KfW IPEX-Bank.
