Airbus A330 is first wide-body aircraft registered with the Channel Islands Aircraft Registry 2-REG

Guernsey 12 September 2014 – 2-REG, The Channel Islands Aircraft Registry has passed a major milestone after signing an Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft.

The off-lease aircraft has been placed on the register at the request of a world-leading lessor.

Wim Ovaa, 2-REG Executive Director, said: ‘Our swift response times coupled with our 2-REG surveyors based in Singapore, means 2-REG is particularly attractive as an in-between leases aircraft registry. We are honoured that this important client has decided to work with us, and so are able to welcome this first Airbus A330 aircraft. We understand that the client was particularly pleased with how the whole registration process was handled, including supporting the ferry flight under 2-REG registration to the maintenance facility.’
