Aircraft Leasing & Management Announces the Sale of Company

Aircraft Leasing & Management (ALM) of London Gatwick, England is pleased to announce that it has completed a transaction with Fuyo General Lease Co Ltd (FGL) of Tokyo, Japan in relation to the sale of 100% of the issued shares of ALM 2010 Ltd, ALM’s holding company.

FGL, in their medium term business plan, have identified the aircraft related sector, and in particular aircraft leasing, as a significant growth area for the company. ALM has been acquired by FGL to provide the necessary resource and expertise to facilitate this plan for significant growth.

FGL has been a client of ALM for many years and there is already a strong relationship between the two entities. The transaction will strengthen and enhance this relationship.

Post-acquisition, in addition to servicing FGL’s requirements, ALM will continue to provide its range of asset management, remarketing and advisory services to its existing clients and will also continue to develop its third-party client base into the future.

ALM will continue to be based in its offices close to London Gatwick Airport and will be joined by representatives from FGL as from August 2014. The current directors of ALM, Roy Webber and Alan Robinson, will continue in their roles at ALM into the future.
