Airline Services Group is promoting its capabilities at the 14th MRO Europe Exhibition in Madrid, Spain this week (27-29 September). Exhibiting at Stand 229/231 it will be highlighting its newly opened Aircraft Component Repair Workshop at London Stansted Airport (STN) representing an investment of over a million GBP.
The facility was opened in response to market demand from airlines, MRO’s and component trading organisations in the UK, Europe, Middle-East and Africa for a stable, reliable, customer-focused component MRO provider with the ability to cover a wide range of components at competitive prices.
With an initial workforce of 25 experienced technicians the new 24,000 sq ft facility provides test, repair and overhaul services for a wide range of component categories including Avionics, Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Structures, Safety and Galley Equipment, plus a Tooling Calibration service. This is in addition to ASL’s existing capability for Seats, IFE, and Interior Trim items. Airline Services anticipates around 100 staff within 2-3 years.
“This major new facility brings welcome competition to the component MRO market and an added dimension to Airline Services already extensive capabilities. We are offering high quality workmanship, short turnaround times and a flexible approach to each customer’s individual needs, all at a highly competitive price.” said Airline Services Group CEO Bryan Bodek.
