MIAMI, FL., -December 3, 2013- Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is pleased to announce that it has selected AIROD Aerospace Technology Sdn Bhd (AAe) as their fifth authorized AEI Conversion Center (ACC). AAe has a seven hangar MRO facility and will begin providing AEI B737-300SF & B737-400SF Passenger to Freighter (PTF) Conversions in the first quarter of 2014 for AEI customers.
The agreement was signed by Mr. David M. Sandri, CEO of AEI and YBhg. Brig. Gen. Dato’ Abdul Rahim Rahman, Executive Director, MRO Services of National Aerospace & Defense Industries (NADI, the holding company of AAe) and was witnessed by Mr. Robert T. Convey, the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for AEI and YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Ahmad Johan, President of NADI.
Mr. Roy Sandri, President of AEI stated that “AEI is very excited to have established NADI & AAe as AEI’s fifth ACC and the first in South East Asia. With AAe’s comprehensive structural engineering background we are confident that they will help us grow in the region and attract new customers.”

AEI now has a total of 10 conversion lines spread over five facilities with slots allocated as follows; three lines at Commercial Jet in Miami FL, four lines at Commercial Jet Services in Dothan AL, one line at FlightStar in Jacksonville FL, one line at Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services in Shanghai China and now one line at AIROD Aerospace in Kuala Lum- pur Malaysia.
