AirTran Airways Adds New Nonstop Route Between Baltimore and Aruba

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Dreaming of spending the holidays on the beach? Baltimore travelers now have new options to head south for the winter! AirTran Airways announced today that the carrier will add a new nonstop destination from Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) with Saturday and Sunday service to Aruba (AUA).

For sale beginning today, AirTran’s new BWI-AUA service will begin on Dec. 17, 2011.

The airline is celebrating the new route with a special fare of $159 one-way for travel between Dec. 17, 2011, and March 14, 2012. Customers must book this super low fare by Sept. 16, 2011, at www.airtran.com.

The new nonstop flight will add to the breadth of service AirTran Airways currently operates out of BWI. Customers can currently fly nonstop between BWI and Bermuda, Montego Bay, Cancun, Nassau/Paradise Island, and San Juan.
