AJW TECHNIQUE ACHIEVES EASA PART-145 APPROVED MAINTENANCE ORGANISATION STATUS

Montréal, Monday 4th March 2013: The vision and direction of AJW Group continues to forge ahead as AJW Technique is awarded EASA Part-145 Approved Maintenance Organisation status. This follows the Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approval, recognised by the USA Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which was granted last month.

General Manager of AJW Technique, Gavin Simmonds, commented “This achievement further underlines the determination of AJW to develop its world-class total solutions and services to both existing and prospective customers. We have our first unit repaired and leaving the Montréal operation today and it will be the first of many. Our focus will always be on the quality and streamlining of processes for optimum turn-around times.”

The Montréal facility is now the centralised hub for the global AJW repair supply chain and will deliver a broad range of component repair and overhaul services to the A J Walter Aviation customer base of more than 800 airlines. Achieving TCCA and EASA approvals paves the way to attaining other regulatory authority accreditations. During 2013 AJW Technique will also pursue AS9110 approval, ensuring AJW Technique is in line with the AJW group philosophy of best-in-class.
