Shannon, Ireland. 25th September, 2012. Aldus Aviation Limited (‘Aldus’) the Shannon, Ireland- based international aircraft leasing company, completed the delivery of a second new Embraer E175 aircraft to Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline on September 25th. The aircraft is one of thirty five firm E175s ordered by Flybe from Embraer in July 2010. This brings to 21, the number of aircraft in the Aldus all-Embraer E-Jet portfolio.
Stephen Gorman, CEO of Aldus stated: “Aldus is very pleased to have delivered a fourth aircraft to Flybe, joining two Aldus owned E-195s and one E-175 already in the Flybe fleet. The continued growth of Flybe is largely powered by the E-Jet family and Flybe has firm orders for 35 E-175s. This aircraft is the fifth of 14 to be financed under a unique export credit facility negotiated by Aldus with BNDES, the Brazil Export Bank.”
