ALITALIA RESUMES SERVICE TO AND FROM VENEZUELA. BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 1st NON STOP SERVICE BETWEEN ROME FIUMICINO AND CARACAS WILL BE RESUMED

Rome, 27 August 2014 – Beginning September 1st, Alitalia will resume service to and from Venezuela with non-stop flights from Rome Fiumicino and Caracas.

The service will operate till the end of the winter season 2014-2015 starting with bi-weekly frequency in September and then increasing to 3 times a week from the beginning of November.

The flight Rome Fiumicino – Caracas will operate with Airbus A330, the latest generation aircraft of the Alitalia fleet, configured in a 3-class service, Magnifica – Business Class, Classic Plus – Premium Economy, and Classica – Economy.

Ticket may be purchased on Alitalia’s website, www.alitalia.com, by calling Alitalia’s Call Center at +39.0665649, or through a travel agent.

Passengers holding a regular confirmed Alitalia ticket purchased prior to the cancellation of the route can rebook/change their reservation without penalty.

The change of booking and ticket reissuance must be completed within 3 months from September 1st.
