Panama City (November 15, 2012) – The Latin American & Caribbean Region Air Transport Association (ALTA) welcomes Mexican regional carrier Aeromar as the latest airline member to join the association, whose mission is to promote Safety, Efficiency and Environmentally friendly practices in Aviation across the Latin America and Caribbean Region.
IOSA-certified Aeromar was founded 25 years ago and has since operated uninterruptedly within Mexico, celebrating its anniversary on November 7th 2012. Its 100 daily flights service particularly the business travel segment covering 25 destinations within Mexico, and plans to expand its coverage to the Southern region of the United States in 2013. Aeromar, which will have transported in excess of 600,000 passengers by the end of this year, is a private company fully funded by Mexican capital. Aeromar is a commercial partner of United Airlines, featuring code-share and Mileage Plus® frequent flyer program participation. It also currently has interline agreements with 18 leading United States, Latin American and European airlines. Aeromar also offers charter and courier and cargo services.
