Ameco Tail Docks for Airframe at 4-Bay Hangar Put into Use

No. 1 tail dock at Ameco Four-Bay hangar was put into use in October 14th. Now, 4 stations with tail docks can provide airframe overhaul for Boeing 747-400, 747-8, 767,777,787, A330 and A340.

No. 1 tail dock at Ameco Four-Bay hangar was put into use in October 14th. Now, 4 stations with tail docks can provide airframe overhaul for Boeing 747-400, 747-8, 767,777,787, A330 and A340.

One Lufthansa Boeing747 came to Ameco for D check at the same day when the No. 1 tail dock was put into use. From this October to next March, 6 Boeing747s from Lufthansa will be planed layover at Ameco Beijing for D check.

In 2014, it signed contracts with ACT Airlines, Air Atlanta Icelandic for Boeing 747 C-check, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for Boeing 747 D-check, and Austrian Airlines for six aircraft C-checks, including 4 Boeing 767s and 2 Boeing 777s,etc.

Ameco started to build A330 capabilities since 2012. It already performed 4C-check on fourteen A330s from Air China in three years and one A330 from some 3rd-party customer. Some intentionfrom someinternational customers is going on so far.

Ameco’s 4-bay hangar was put into use in 1996, and can host four Boeing 747s for overhaul at the same time.
