ANOTHER OPERATIONAL RECORD FROM TRANSAERO

Moscow, September 21, 2011 – Transaero Airlines announces its operational results for the first seven months of 2011. For the first time ever more than 1.1 million passengers was carried within one month.
For the period from January to August 2011:
· Passenger turnover reached 21.48 billion RPK, 28.5% higher than in the first eight months of 2010
· The total number of passengers carried amounted to 5,579,859 which is 28.3% more than in the same period previous year
· Transaero transported a total of 30,705 tons of cargo, 33.8% more than in the first eight months of 2010
· Ton-kilometers totaled 2.11 billion TKM, 28.8% more than in the same period previous year.
In August 2011:
· Revenue passenger-kilometers (RPK) totaled 3.738 billion, 36.5% more than in August 2010
· Passenger volume constituted 1,105,029 passengers, 39% more than in the same month last year.
In January – August Transaero once again demonstrated the highest rates of growth among top-five Russian carriers.
