On November 25, 2013, three indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (“AAWW” or the “Company”) entered into agreements with affiliates of Guggenheim Aviation Partners, LLC that provide for the acquisition by such subsidiaries of an aggregate of three Boeing 777-200LRF aircraft, each equipped with two GE 90-110B1L engines (all three aircraft being collectively referred to as the “Aircraft”). The Aircraft are currently on long-term lease to a European express carrier.
As indicated in the attached Form 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission today, on November 25, 2013, three indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (“AAWW” or the “Company”) entered into agreements with affiliates of Guggenheim Aviation Partners, LLC that provide for the acquisition by such subsidiaries of an aggregate of three Boeing 777-200LRF aircraft, each equipped with two GE 90-110B1L engines (all three aircraft being collectively referred to as the “Aircraft”). The Aircraft are currently on long-term lease to a European express carrier.
Upon closing of the agreements described in today’s Form 8-K, the company would have a total of six 777-200LRF aircraft on long-term lease to customers in its Dry Leasing business.
