Agreement on Tbilisi – Vienna route
Austrian Airlines and Georgian Airways are creating clear benefits for passengers: With the cooperation on the route Tbilisi- Vienna, the two airlines provide an attractive offer for travellers from East to West and from West to East. Flights to and from Tbilisi are now connect perfectly with the Austrian Airlines hub of Vienna. This helps passengers to save valuable time on their journey and gives them access to an enlarged network. The flights will be operated by Georgian Airways with a Boeing B737. As a result of the cooperation, Austrian Airlines passengers coming from all over Europe and Japan will find good transfer connections to Tbilisi. Georgian Airways passengers from Tbilisi travelling in the opposite direction will also be provided with a range of good connections across Europe with Austrian Airlines.
In Vienna, Austrian Airlines operate Europe’s biggest destination network served out of a single hub in Vienna with over 100 destinations.

The air company “Airzena” was founded in September 1993. In 1999 Airzena became the flag carrier of Georgia. On October 1, 2004 the air company changed its name into “Georgian Airways”.
Air company’s priorities: permanent and strict protection of flight safety standards; continual renewal of service; keeping of own place in the international market of the strict competition surrounding.
Air Company’s operation network covers different destinations in CIS and Europe having regular flights from TBS to the following destinations: DME, CDG, ATH, FRA, AMS, VIE, IEV, MSQ, DXB, TLV, THR, BUS, from Batumi to Kiev, as well as charter flights for passengers, cargo and mail transportation. At present the air company operates Boeing 737-500/400/300 type aircraft, two CRJ-100 and we intend to add two Embraer in Summer 2011. We care about our passengers comfort!
