AVIANCATACA: NEW DIRECT FLIGHT BETWEEN SAN SALVADOR AND MEDELLIN

TACA Airlines welcomes the year 2013 by operating a direct flight between the city of Medellin, Colombia and Avianca and TACA´s HUB in El Salvador, starting the January 2nd. The flight will operate four times per week on an Embraer 190 aircraft for 96 passengers; 8 in Business Class and 88 in coach.

“The new flight to Medellin offers a very good travel option from El Salvador, USA, and Mexico; providing an easier way to connect with Medellin. This city is an interesting market with great opportunities for business or leisure. For those travelers coming from Medellin the flight provides direct access to Central America through Avianca and TACA´s HUB in El Salvador, as well as travel possibilities towards North American. This flight increases connectivity with North America and strengthens the airline´s hub in El Salvador.

The flight provides connections from and to Orlando, Washington, Dallas, Miami and Cancun in North America; along with connectivity to the Central American and Caribbean cities of Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula, La Havana, Guatemala, Managua, Belize, Roatan, Liberia, and San Jose. Avianca and TACA´s passengers now have a very attractive option for their business and leisure travel with this flight, along with increased connection benefits and improved flight schedules.
