Kansas City, MO (May 7, 2014) ― Aviation Technical Services (ATS) and UTair Aviation have entered into a service agreement for ATS to supply maintenance and engineering services to the Russian passenger carrier on eight (8) B767‐200 aircraft. The program will consist of modifying the existing 170 passenger configuration aircraft to a 255 passenger configuration, along with integrating and maintaining the aircraft to UTair’s maintenance program. The services will be completed at the new ATS facility in Kansas City, Missouri.

“We are proud to have this opportunity to support UTair and we look forward to growing our relationship over the coming years,” said Matt Yerbic, ATS President and CEO. “This agreement further extends our services to operators in North America and around the world,” added Yerbic.

“The Boeing 767‐200 aircraft reconfiguration project is extremely important for UTair, said UTair‐ Passenger Airlines President Oleg Semenov. “It’s a move designed to make UTair’s long‐haul fleet more versatile and effective. The refitted aircraft will expand our market presence on the tourist travel market and make air travel more affordable to our passengers.”
