Avtrade is awarded five year Mega-Maldives Component Support Contract

New operator Mega-Maldives has selected Avtrade to provide full component support for its Boeing 767-300 aircraft until 2016.
A leading component support specialist, Avtrade has contracted to provide a range of services on a power by the hour basis including, pool access, 24/7 AOG service, logistics, component management, repair and maintenance.

In addition, Mega-Maldives has signed a multi-million dollar lease with Avtrade for a dedicated Base Kit positioned in Malé.

Mega Maldives began operations in December 2010 with domestic charter flights between Malé and Gan International Airport in Addu Atoll, the southernmost atoll of the Maldives. With the introduction of international routes to Hong Kong and China, both scheduled flights and fleet expansion are planned.

With focus on performance and dedicated customer service, Avtrade look forward to working in partnership with Mega-Maldives to deliver cost effective support and operational efficiency promoting growth and development over the next five years.
