AWAS’ commercial aircraft leasing platform reaches milestone with 300th aircraft in fleet

AWAS announced today that it has reached an important milestone in its almost 30 continuous years of serving global airlines’ fleet needs: the addition of the 300th aircraft into its active fleet with the recent delivery of a new Airbus A320-200 with factory-fitted, end of wing sharklets to Thai Airways.

Ray Sisson, President & CEO AWAS remarked on this achievement, “The addition of AWAS’ 300 aircraft into our portfolio is a tribute to our people: their unmatched expertise, dedication to the customer, and unwavering desire to find and deliver innovative solutions. We would like to thank our 100 airline customers around the globe, for the continued trust they place in AWAS to meet and exceed their business requirements. As AWAS continues our planned growth initiative acquiring new to mid-life aircraft, we will never lose sight of what has made us successful: listening and understanding each unique business model, offering a wider array of solutions to a broader target of airlines, and executing with unmatched efficiency for our customers while delivering strong, consistent, sustainable earnings for our shareholders.”
