AWAS delivers A330-200 aircraft to new customer Windrose Airlines

AWAS announced today that it has placed one A330-200 widebody passenger aircraft on lease to Windrose Airlines. This aircraft comes from AWAS’ existing aircraft portfolio. Windrose Airlines is a well-established Ukrainian charter operator based in Kiev serving pan-European, South American, and Asian tourist destinations.

Volodymyr Kamenchuk, General Director of Windrose said, “Continuing our pioneering traditions, we are very happy and proud to be the first operator of an A330 in Ukraine. We are confident that the operation of a modern long haul aircraft will further strengthen our leading position in the Ukrainian charter market. Our customised deal with AWAS was completed very effectively and quickly with huge efforts and involvement from both parties and we look forward to further developing our cooperation with the growth of our Airbus fleet.”
