AWAS delivers first of three new A320 aircraft to Qantas for their Jetstar Asia subsidiary

AWAS announced today that it has delivered a new Airbus A320 passenger aircraft to the Qantas group for deployment in their Jetstar Asia operating unit. This aircraft is from AWAS’ existing new order pipeline with Airbus.

This aircraft is the first of three A320s being delivered to Qantas by AWAS in 1Q 2013 for operation with their Singapore and Australian Jetstar entities.

Jon O’Connell, Managing Director Asia Pacific for AWAS stated, “With the lease of these A320s to the Qantas Group, AWAS is very pleased to continue to build on a long-term relationship between the organisations which was forged back in 2001 when AWAS leased Qantas 767-300ER and 737-300 aircraft.”
