AWAS announced today that they have delivered the second of two planned new A330-300 widebodies to Philippine Airlines (PAL) that were part of a purchase and leaseback agreement finalised earlier this year.
Philippine Airlines had ordered these aircraft directly from the manufacturer and they will form part of the flag carrier’s ongoing refleeting and network expansion program. PAL is one of the most respected airlines around the world with a modern fleet of aircraft and a route network that spans 34 foreign cities as well as 29 domestic points.
