AWAS delivers second & third new A320 aircraft to Qantas for their Jetstar Asia and Jetstar Australia subsidiaries

AWAS announced today that it has delivered two new Airbus A320 passenger aircraft to the Qantas group for deployment in their Jetstar Asia and Jetstar Australia operating units. This aircraft is from AWAS’ existing new order pipeline with Airbus.

These aircraft are the final of three A320s being delivered to Qantas by AWAS in 1Q 2013 for operation with their Singapore and Australian Jetstar entities. AWAS now has a total of eight aircraft on lease with the Qantas Group overall.

Jon O’Connell, Managing Director Asia Pacific for AWAS stated, “We are very pleased to deliver these two A320s to Qantas, our valued customer for over a decade. We are proud to have been selected by them again to help with their growth plans for the Jetstar operations based in Singapore and Australia.”
