AWAS announced today that it has delivered a sixth new Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft to the largest low-cost airline in Latin America, GOL. This aircraft was previously ordered by GOL directly from the manufacturer and is the subject of a purchase and leaseback agreement with AWAS. This B737-800 is the final of a previously announced package of five B737-800s contracted between the parties for purchase and leaseback in March 2011 (the 5th delivery, in August 2012, was part of an incremental PLB transaction.)
The aircraft is equipped with the Boeing Sky Interior, offering GOL’s passengers a superior level of comfort and convenience.
