AWAS delivers two additional new A320 aircraft to Spring Airlines

AWAS announced today that it has delivered an additional two new A320 passenger aircraft on lease with Spring Airlines in China. These aircraft come from AWAS’ existing pipeline order with the manufacturer and will assist with Spring’s growth needs: domestically and to new, planned pan-regional routes such as Singapore.

Ms. Zhang Xiu Zhi, CEO Spring Airlines commented on the delivery. “We are very pleased to receive these two new A320s with end of wing sharklets to maximise fuel efficiency and range capability. AWAS has proven itself once again to be a valuable partner to Spring, to aid in our continued growth.”

“AWAS is proud to expand our relationship with Spring Airlines. Their proven, low cost model is extremely well-positioned to capitalise on the dramatically increasing domestic and regional need for leisure and business air travel.” said Ray Sisson, President & CEO AWAS.

AWAS was one of the first lessors to place aircraft in China, beginning in the early 1990’s.
