AWAS to place one new 737-800 aircraft with new customer Sunwing Airlines

AWAS announced today that it entered into an agreement with Sunwing Airlines to place one new 737-800 aircraft on long-term lease with the airline. This aircraft will come from AWAS’ existing new order pipeline.

Mark Williams, President Sunwing Airlines remarked on the deal, “We are very pleased to begin a relationship with AWAS to lease a new 737-800 built to Sunwing’s specification. They proved to us early-on that not only could they provide access to the aircraft we wanted in the timeframe that worked for our business, but that they consistently operate in a responsive and customer-centric manner.”

“AWAS is proud to add Sunwing as a customer today,” said Ray Sisson, President & CEO AWAS. “As the airline platform of the Sunwing Travel Group they are extremely well-positioned for additional growth.”

Marlin Dailey, Chief Commercial Officer AWAS commented, “We would like to thank Sunwing for the trust they have placed in us to deliver a customised solution for their successfully expanding operation. We look forward to years of growth together.”
