BAINES SIMMONS APPOINTS NEW QUALITY CONSULTANT

Baines Simmons, leading provider of aviation safety solutions, has appointed Ivan Christiansen to head up the company’s expanding quality consultancy division.

As clients’ understanding of the benefits of measuring the effectiveness of their systems grows, so quality management consultancy and diagnostics are becoming an increasingly important part of Baines Simmons provision to the aviation industry. As an accredited member of the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA), Ivan’s appointment will enhance the services the company is able to offer.

With more than 20 years experience in the aviation industry, Ivan joins Baines Simmons from Rolls Royce where he was head of global quality On Wing Care. He has also worked for the British Army, Dunlop Aviation and the British Standards Institute, where he worked as a lead assessor auditing and supporting aviation companies to obtain and maintain accreditation to aviation standards.
