Barfield, a Sabena technics company is once again AS9100C and ISO 9001:2008 certified. These certifications recognize Barfield as being one of a handful of aviation companies within the Americas to be certified to the AS9100C standard. Barfield is proud to continue to comply with the highest quality management systems in the industry.
AS9100C is the latest revision for the Quality Management System standard (QMS) managed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) of SAE International. With this internationally recognized certification for quality and management in the aerospace industry, Barfield relies on differentiation through the quality of its management systems in a highly competitive market.
The scope of this registration includes: test, repair, overhaul, repair management, distribution of aerospace components as well as design, manufacturing, distribution and recertification of Ground Support Test Equipment (GSTE) for Barfield’s three locations in Miami (FL), Phoenix (AZ) and Louisville (KY). As part of the AS9100C, Barfield has also been recertified to the latest ISO 9001:2008 standards.
