BBAM opens office in Swizerland

BBAM LLC, a global aircraft lessor and manager of FLY Leasing. (NYSE: FLY), announced today that it has opened an office in Zurich, Switzerland.

BBAM’s Switzerland office will concentrate on marketing to airline customers in Europe. It will initially be staffed by John Lynch and Stephane Mangione, who are both senior members of BBAM’s marketing team and were previously based in BBAM’s office in Dublin, Ireland. John Lynch, who will be leading the Zurich-based team, will continue to cover customers located throughout Northern, Western and Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS region. Stephane Mangione will continue to focus on existing and potential customers located in France, Southern Europe and Northern Africa.

BBAM President and Chief Executive Officer, Steve Zissis commented, “We are excited to be opening our first office in continental Europe as part of the expansion of our worldwide network of offices.  Both John and Stephane have been with BBAM for more than 10 years, are well-known in the industry and, consequently, are well positioned to take advantage of Zurich’s central location to further strengthen our already extensive airline relationships in Europe.  At present, more than US$6 billion in BBAM-managed assets are deployed in the region and we expect the Zurich office will play a significant role in the management of these assets and the future growth of our business.”
